Budget airline IndiGo has announced that it will restart its Delhi–Guangzhou route from November 10, offering daily non-stop flights between India and China. The resumption aims to meet growing business and tourism demand as bilateral ties continue to normalize.
This route was suspended during the pandemic, but IndiGo says the revival will support both corporate and leisure travelers. The move also aligns with India’s broader effort to expand its international aviation network and reconnect major Asian trade hubs.
The airline has also hinted at more routes to Southeast Asia and Europe as part of its 2025 expansion plan, citing a rapid recovery in global air traffic.
