An Akasa Air Boeing 737 MAX flight from Pune to Delhi was forced to return to the airport shortly after take-off on Sunday following a bird strike. The incident occurred moments after the plane lifted off, prompting the pilots to initiate standard safety procedures.

The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers were unharmed. Maintenance teams conducted a thorough inspection before clearing the plane for service. Akasa Air stated that passenger safety remains its top priority and that all flight operations follow strict regulatory guidelines.

The incident adds to a growing number of bird-strike cases during the monsoon season, when migratory bird activity increases near urban airports.
