In a major crackdown on human trafficking, Nagpur Police have rescued four women and arrested six people, including three women, in connection with a sex racket running under the guise of spa services. The raids were conducted as part of ‘Operation Shakti’, an ongoing campaign targeting illegal trafficking networks in Maharashtra.

According to police, the rescue operation was carried out at two locations where the victims were allegedly confined and forced into prostitution. Authorities have confirmed that counselling and rehabilitation measures are being arranged for the rescued women. Further investigations are underway to trace the broader syndicate and its financial backers.
